When we began to lie?

The mechanisms that originate the lies are a mystery. According to studies of specialists in psychology it is in the three first years of life when the lies emerge as a form to avoid punishments, to be well with the friends or to feel that a situation is under control.

Lie is not a simple task, is needed inventive capacity, imagination and verbal abilities to convince others of another reality. If a boy of four years is lying, this is a signal of good cerebral development, but this ability become a risky tendency if it becomes a strong habit.

A truth is that every day we faced lies, which can be said by us, by friends or strangers. There is not a day in the world that does not say a lie.

The lies do not have action limits, of social or labor class. We can listen or read lies in television, radio or newspapers. Clearly! The mass media also are source of lies and they sell them to us like realities.

How much than we listened is true?

We don’t have the smaller idea. In order to have some idea it is interesting to analyze some examples.

Example 1. When the present crisis initiated, presidente of Mexico, Felipe Calderón announced that the mexicans did not have anything to worry, that our economy was armored of any economic problem in the world.

The speech was transmitted by television, commented by radio and spread by newspapers. Its objective, well is known, was maintain an apparent calm in order to prevent an immediate exit of capitals and mainly that we, known as the middle-class, did not enter in panic. But this has a name here and in China, it is known like Marketing of Middle-class. Justifying that all the elements of discussion used under this tool are not lies.

Make up the reality has become a daily practice. We analyze a second example: in the middle of December of 2008 is provoked an explosion of news in the United States that scares to anyone.

The possible greater financial swindle of history is opened, with the disappearance of 50 billions of dollars at the hands of that seemed to be one of the most reliable and respected figures of Wall Street, Bernard Madoff. In addition new revelations of corruption and ineptitude in Iraq appear by 100 million dollars. As well as the fraud by more than 380 million dollars of a recognized lawyer, Marc Dreier, to its clients and the accusations to a governor to offer a bench in the Senate to the best postor.

As the same Madoff confessed its sons: “everything was not more than a great lie”.

It is speculated that the crisis was born from great lies created like part of profit games: banks that granted loans and mortgages and speculated later with that debt, risk investments which were almost fictitious operations, businesses military where the State Treasury paid thousands of million to benefit companies that did not do their work.

The culture to lie has taken such dimensions that sometimes we did not find differences between doing and not. Lie is so daily that the fictitious realities become unquestionable truths.

Will it be a necessity to use the detector of lies for everything in the life? This method is not 100% insurance and for me newness does not have any scientific validation. So we will have to use our arachnid sense to detect lies of the realities. Without forgetting that the option of not wanting see the lies also exists.
